Managing Process Definitions

Process Definitions created in the Model & Go! editor are listed under the My Process Definitions section in the Launch Panel. Note that process definitions created outside of the Model & Go! editor are not listed.

Using the Process Definitions Toolbar

A toolbar contains following options to support managing Process Definitions.

Adding a Process Definition

Creates a new Process Definition.

In the My Process Definition panel, click the Add icon. A placeholder Process Definition is added to the list and is opened in the Process Definition view. For more information, please refer to the Working in the Process Definition View

Importing a Process Definition

In the My Process Definition panel, click the Import icon.

Saving a Process Definition

In the My Process Definition panel, click the Save icon. Saves the process definition.

Refreshing Process Definition List

The refresh models action reloads models from repository and clears the session log. So any unsaved changes to the model might be lost. We recommend you to save the models before refresh action.

A confirmation message is displayed that allows the following:

In the My Process Definition panel, click the Refresh icon. Refreshes the process definition list.

In the My Process Definition panel, click on the Search icon and type process name you want to search. The processes that matches the search criteria are displayed.

Using the Process Definition Context Menu

Each process definition has a context menu associated with it. To work with specific process definition, click down arrow icon.

The context menu for that process definition gets displayed.

Deleting a Process Definition

In the context menu, click the Delete icon.

The confirmation message is displayed. Click Yes to delete the process definition.

Renaming a Process Definition

In the context menu, click the Rename icon and enter a new name for process.

Downloading a Process Definition

In the context menu, click the Download icon. The .xpdl file of the process gets downloaded in the browser. Save the file at a specific location.
