Enabling and disabling User Avatars

Per default the usage of user avatars is disabled. If you enable the option Enable User Avatars, user avatars are displayed along with users in the Portal, if they exist.

User avatars can be set in the My Picture tab of the User Profile configuration. Please refer to section Using a User Picture of chapter Viewing and Editing your User Profile for details on how to add a user avatar to your profile.

Note that the My Picture tab is not displayed in case the Enable User Avatars option is disabled.

Configuring Paginating

Page Size

In this entry you can determine the number of records displayed per page. Default is 8. The maximum supported number of rows per table page is 250. In case you exceed this number, a warning is displayed:

Note
A high number of rows (greater than 50), might cause severe performance issues as this will affect all tables shown in the Portal! It is recommended to use high values only for single sessions, e.g. where table data needs to be exported, and reset to a reasonable value afterwards.

Max Pages

Max Pages determines the maximum number of pages displayed in the paginator toolbar. Default is 4.

Fast Step

Fast Step determines how many pages to be skipped for fast step. In case the value is zero, no fast step is provided. Default is 3.

Note
Fast Step is not provided in HTML5 views (default skin)!
